Patient Care Coordinator – Edmonton, Alberta
Avant Respiratory provides clinical consultation, diagnostic services, and treatment for a wide range of sleep disorders, helping patients across Canada sleep better and live better. We're growing, and we're looking for a Patient Care Coordinator to join our Edmonton team.

What You’ll Do-
Provide day-to-day support to patients and help answer their questions so they get the care they need

Provide day-to-day support to our Respiratory Therapists and other team members as required

Obtain patient medical histories and insurance information; update medical charts and enter patient data

Coordinate appointment types for patients, including booking and rescheduling follow-ups

Review data on clinical activity and prepare associated reports as required

Answer telephone inquiries from patients and others, screening calls to determine nature and urgency, referring calls as appropriate, and scheduling appointments

Assist patients with insurance pre-authorizations and claim approvals

Maintain the cleanliness and serviceability of equipment, arranging for maintenance and repair as needed

Perform other miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
What We’re Looking For-
A minimum of 2+ years in an administrative position

Experience in health care or sleep therapy is an asset but not required — training is provided

Experience using an EMR system is considered an asset

Excellent organizational and administrative skills with impeccable attention to detail

Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite

Job Details-
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts
