Personal Trainer / Fitness Coach — Part-Time / Full-Time
Anytime Fitness Riverside is looking for motivated, energetic, and people-focused Personal Trainers / Fitness Coaches to join our team!
If you’re passionate about fitness and enjoy helping people become stronger, healthier, and more confident, we want to meet you.
You don’t have to be the most experienced trainer in the industry. We’re looking for people with the right attitude, work ethic, communication skills, coachability, and desire to help others succeed.
We provide a supportive, team-oriented environment where you can develop your coaching skills, build long-term client relationships, grow your clientele, and build a career in the fitness industry.
COMPENSATION & EARNING POTENTIAL
This position offers a unique opportunity to get paid to build your personal training business.
Paid Prospecting Hours
Trainers/coaches will be paid 10–12 hours per week at $19/hour specifically for prospecting and generating new personal training clients.
These paid hours are designed to give you dedicated time to:
- Connect with gym members and prospective clients.
- Generate new personal training leads.
- Follow up with prospects.
- Schedule fitness consultations.
- Build relationships with potential clients.
- Promote personal training services.
- Develop and grow your personal training clientele.
Paid Personal Training Client Rates
Your weekly paid client hours determine your hourly training rate for ALL of your paid client hours that week.
- 0–20 paid client hours/week → $40/hour
- 21–35 paid client hours/week → $50/hour
- 36+ paid client hours/week → $60/hour
This is an all-hours tiered pay structure. There is no partial or split-rate system.
For example:
- If you train 20 paid client hours, all 20 hours are paid at $40/hour.
- If you train 25 paid client hours, all 25 hours are paid at $50/hour.
- If you train 36 paid client hours, all 36 hours are paid at $60/hour.
If your paid client hours increase or decrease into a different tier, your applicable hourly rate changes for all paid client hours in that week.
Why This Matters
The goal is to build and maintain a strong client schedule.
The more paid client hours you consistently maintain, the higher your hourly rate becomes.
For example:
20 hours/week = $800/week in training pay
25 hours/week = $1,250/week in training pay
36 hours/week = $2,160/week in training pay
These examples are based on paid client training hours only and do not include the additional 10–12 paid prospecting hours at $19/hour.
This structure rewards trainers who consistently build, maintain, and grow their clientele.

All newly hired trainers/coaches will begin with a 90-day probationary period.
During your first 90 days, you will be expected to actively build your personal training clientele through prospecting, consultations, follow-up, member engagement, and excellent coaching.
To continue employment as a Personal Trainer/Fitness Coach beyond the 90-day probationary period, trainers/coaches must demonstrate the ability to build and maintain 10–20 hours per week of paid personal training clients.
