Labourer
Purpose:
Performing a wide range of physical tasks to assist skilled workers and contribute to the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities:
- Engage in manual labour, such as lifting, carrying, and moving heavy materials, equipment, and tools
- Assist in preparing the work site before the start of construction or other activities
- Load and unload materials from trucks or delivery vehicles
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to ensure a safe working environment for oneself and other workers.
- Keep the work area clean and organized.
- Follow instructions from supervisors or project managers and ask for clarification when needed
- Help with demolition activities, such as breaking down structures, removing debris, and clearing the site
Knowledge, skills, abilities:
- Strength and ability to perform strenuous tasks
- Willingness to work in various weather conditions and environments
- Flexibility and adaptability to handle different tasks as per project requirements.
Qualifications:
- 2-3 years in construction related work preferred
