Motion Machinery Ltd. is growing and looking for experienced Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technicians and experienced apprentices to join our Stony Plain shop.

Our technicians work on a wide range of heavy equipment, construction and forestry equipment, highway trucks, and trailers — all from our fully equipped Stony Plain facility.

What You'll Be Doing
- Diagnose, service, and repair heavy equipment, trucks, and trailers
- Troubleshoot hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems
- Perform preventative maintenance and scheduled repairs
- Repair and replace defective components and systems
- Complete work accurately and efficiently according to work orders
- Perform equipment testing and inspections
- Complete clear, detailed work-order notes and repair stories
- Communicate repair requirements and equipment status with the service team
- Work independently and collaboratively with other technicians
- Maintain a safe, clean, and productive work environment
What We're Looking For
- Journeyman Heavy Equipment Technician certification or experienced HET.
- Heavy equipment and/or truck & trailer repair experience
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
- Experience diagnosing hydraulic and electrical systems
- Ability to complete detailed work orders electronically
- Good communication skills
- Comfortable working independently
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence
- Own toolbox and technician tools
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.96-$50.00 per hour
