Some of what you will do
As the Online Merchandise and Operations Specialist, you support the promise of work, learn, grow for our customers by creating and maintaining all Dropship skus and supporting the onboarding of online vendors and skus from a merchandising lens. You will partner with vendors for sku/cost information and content and coordinate with Customer Service Team responding to merchandising database and product issues. You will also partner with the Merchandising teams to leverage combined intelligence and experiences to help build the merchandising portfolio. With a large scope of impact and partnerships with a variety of stakeholders, each day will be fast-paced, challenging, rewarding and meaningful.
Specifically, you will:
Handle the overall onboarding process of drop ship vendors (domestic and cross border) to the website through a strong partnership with the Merchandise and Digital teams who manage the website and back-end.
Facilitate vendor migration from Staples Exchange to Commerce Hub
On-board cross-border trade vendors, verify HS classifications with third party vendor and logistic team, upload and maintain CBT sku setup, HS code, Tariff Treatment and duty %.
Maintain Dropship Vendor Tracker which comprises various vendor information and terms, and also maintain Vendor Information Sheet for all dropship vendors.
Create SKU in AS400 and Sunrise. Maintain SKU setup in AS400 and relevant Sunrise flags while communicating regularly with Merchandising teams for the assigned vendors/categories.
Handle sku/vendor inquiries from various sources including customer service, internal teams etc. Investigate and resolve online drop-ship out-of-stock issues with vendors and Merchandising teams.
Vendor promotion - Excel dropship skus sell through by initiating cross-category promotions to increase exposure of new assortments and capture a greater value of customer wallet.
Conduct research, gather industry data and trends to assist assortment/vendor expansion and selection.
Assist in making decisions about switching FC locations and location of product to maximize margin and customer experience. Continuously look for opportunities for process improvement and efficiency.
Assist in making decisions based on metrics and sales opportunity to convert placement of products in our fulfillment centers (FC) network or using drop ship methods.
Some of what you need
2-4 years of background in merchandising, buying, replenishment, online merchandising or similar.
Post-Secondary education in business, retail management, inventory or supply chain management.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with a variety of teams and departments.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (word, excel, outlook, access, power point)
Basic understanding of financial forms and reporting
Demonstrated bias for action, attention to detail, effective prioritization and flawless execution
