Position: Security Guard
Site: Condominium Building Rideau Street
Status: Monday to Friday 11pm to 7am (Full-Time)
Pay Rate: $17.20/ per hour. Opportunity to earn more depending on skills, qualification and leadership experience.
Job Description:
- Ensure the safety and protection of residents and building property
- Enforce access control
- Internal and external foot patrolling of the building property
- Respond and deescalate incidents
- Prepare written reports as required
- Monitor security camera and CCTV
- Respond to resident requests
- Build strong relationships with residents and contractors
- Programming FOB’s and garage remotes
Minimum Requirements:
- Valid Ontario Security Guard License
- Security background check
- Moderate physical activity: standing and/or walking for entirety of shift
- Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation
- Remain calm and effectively perform in emergency situations
- Adhere to our Code of Ethics in performing job requirements
- Able to understand and follow specific instructions and procedures
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Basic working knowledge of computers and how to write and answer email
