Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Engineering and Processing Technician to join our innovative team. This role involves supporting manufacturing projects through technical expertise, system design, and process optimization. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical, electrical, and software knowledge, along with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Duties
· Print, review, modify and develop all AutoCAD solid model drawings.
· Review and develop shop drawings, where customer drawings are not sufficient.
· Approve design drawings prior to production.
· Assign programming duties.
· Process and track all aspects of job progress.
· Continually monitor job flow for improvements.
· Production scheduling to ensure on-time delivery.
· Perform detailed inspection on parts and prepare inspection reports when required.
· Advise / recommend to purchasing agent type of goods to order, if needed.
· Correspond with shop foreman.
· Liaise with customers and identify potential future customers.
· Receive and respond to customer quotes and inquiries.
· Log pertinent information into quote log.
· Ensure equipment and machined/fabricated products are following customer’s specifications.
· Operate effectively under all various Health and Safety & ISO standard policies.
· Assignment of related duties, as required by the Company.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software including AutoCAD and SolidWorks
- Knowledge of steel fabrication and custom machining processes
- Excellent communication skills in English
- Demonstrated organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Microsoft Project & Outlook; strong computer operation skills required
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- International travel for customer visits
Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour
