We are a commercial landscaping company seeking a Horticulture Technician / Garden Maintenance Specialist to maintain flower beds and ornamental landscapes at commercial properties.
This position is ideal for someone with experience in plant care, pruning, and garden maintenance who takes pride in maintaining high-quality landscapes.
Responsibilities:
- Garden bed maintenance (weeding, edging, cultivation)
- Pruning shrubs, perennials, and ornamental grasses
- Deadheading flowers and maintaining seasonal colour
- Assisting with planting annuals and perennials
- Monitoring plant health and identifying issues
- Spring and fall garden bed cleanups
Requirements:
- Experience in horticulture, gardening, or landscape maintenance
- Knowledge of plant care and pruning practices
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Valid driver’s license considered an asset
Compensation:
$24 – $35 per hour depending on experience
