Job Summary
We're looking for a skilled, detail-oriented Photo Editor to join our production team and handle post-processing for our wedding and elopement galleries. You'll work closely with our creative director to turn raw mountain wedding footage into polished, on-brand final galleries — on a tight turnaround during our busy season.
Duties
- Cull and select the best images from large RAW photo sets (high volume — multiple weddings per week during peak season, often back-to-back Saturday ceremonies)
- Edit and colour-grade images in **Adobe Lightroom** to match our established brand style
- Perform detailed retouching in **Adobe Photoshop** (skin, object removal, etc.)
- Maintain consistency across galleries and photographers
- Deliver finished galleries within agreed turnaround times
- Organize and manage large volumes of RAW files (we handle multiple terabytes/month) within our cloud storage workflow
- Communicate proactively on workload capacity, especially during high-volume weekends
Requirements
- **Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Photoshop** — non-negotiable, please include portfolio samples
- Proven experience editing wedding or event photography (mountain/outdoor lighting experience a strong plus)
- - A strong eye for colour, light, and consistency across a full gallery
- Ability to manage high photo volumes without sacrificing quality or missing deadlines
- Comfortable with cloud-based file transfer/storage workflows
- Reliable, organized, and responsive — especially during June–October peak season
- **Very high-speed internet** capable of downloading multiple terabytes of data per month without issue
- **Own computer/workstation** capable of running Lightroom and Photoshop smoothly (no company equipment provided)
Nice to Haves
- Experience editing for elopement or destination wedding photographers
- Familiarity with batch-editing/preset workflows for efficiency at scale

Pay: $22.00 per hour
