Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and organized Creative Arts Teacher and School Office Administrator to join our private high shcool in a unique hybrid role. This dual-role position is ideal for a passionate educator with strong administrative skills, dedicated to fostering creativity and supporting the daily operations of our school. The successful candidate will contribute to enriching students' artistic development while efficiently managing office responsibilities to ensure a smooth school environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement engaging arts curricula that incorporate various creative disciplines suitable for early childhood education.
- Teach art, and other creative subjects, tailoring lessons to meet the diverse needs of students, including those in special education programs.
- Maintain and update Onsis or Esdembli system with student progress, lesson plans, and educational resources.
- Assist with classroom management
- Oversee daily school operations, including managing attendance records, scheduling appointments, and handling correspondence.
- Support communication with parents, staff, and students through effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Coordinate school events, workshops, and extracurricular activities related
- Manage administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, supply inventory, and maintaining a welcoming office environment.
Skills
- Proficiency in teaching creative arts disciplines such as visual arts, media arts or drama.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with students, parents, staff, and community members
- Familiarity with Learning Management Systems (LMS) for tracking student progress and managing digital resources, experience with ONSIS or Edsembli system will be preferred.
- Organizational skills necessary for managing administrative duties efficiently in a school environment. Pay: $30,000.00-$45,000.00 per year
