About the role:
This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated individual who takes pride in delivering exceptional service to both internal teams and external clients. In this role, you will serve as a vital liaison for our production area and inventory department. The successful candidate will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of materials and products throughout our facility. As a Shipper/Receiver, you will also coordinate with our Material Handlers and perform other tasks as required by the Inventory Manager.

Responsibilities:
· Pick orders and prepare them for shipping.
· Receive incoming materials and put them away properly.
· Prepare shipping documents, including bills of lading and customs forms, manually and by computer.
· Monitor loading and unloading of goods from trucks or other transport vehicles.
· Assemble containers and crates, document contents, and pack goods for shipment.
· Load, unload, and move products and materials by hand or with an electric forklift.
· Examine and confirm incoming goods.
· Maintain and organize inventory.
· Operate computerized inventory control systems.
· Perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks, including manual dexterity, bending, crouching, and kneeling.
Skill Requirements:
· Education: Completion of high school.
· Languages: Proficiency in English (speaking, reading, and writing) is essential to ensure clear communication and accurate documentation.
· Vehicle and Equipment Experience: Dollies and hand trucks, industrial lift trucks and forklifts, light trucks.
· Weight Handling (lift/push/pull): Up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
· Effective communication: able to work collaboratively with others and function as part of a team and work efficiently with minimal supervision to get the job done.
· The ability to multitask within a complex manufacturing facility.
· Friendly, courteous and customer service driven.
· Strong attention to detail.
Additional Requirements:
· Bondable, driving record check (abstract)
· Valid driver’s license (Class 5)
· Credentials: Forklift Operator Certification, WHMIS Certificate
· Steel-toed safety boots
· Syspro experience to be considered an asset
· Some mechanical aptitude preferred
Hours Of Work: 40 hours/week
