Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Door & Hardware Installer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for removing, installing, repairing, and maintaining frames, doors, exit devices, locks, closers security hardware and automatic door operators. . This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on on commercial wood , aluminum and hollow metal entrances, utilizing your skills in construction and carpentry, to creatie secure and functional spaces.
Responsibilities
- Install, adjust, and repair doors, frames, locks, exit devices, closers and other hardware components according to product specifications and templates.
- Use circular and jigsaws, routers, drills, grinders. , multi-tools, and hand tools to complete installations efficiently
- Work alone or with other team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high safety standards
- Make good or modify existing stud wall construction, drywall and finishes as required for interior entrances.
- Install flashings and caulking on exterior entrances.,
Requirements
- A strong background in construction and carpentry with the ability to read plans and templates accurately.
- Advanced skills in the use of hand and power tools
- Knowledge of door hardware installation procedures and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in various physical environments
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail for precise hardware placement.
- G license with clean driving record..
- References when required.
