GrowKids Education Center provides supplementary after-school programs for students in a positive and encouraging environment. Currently we are looking for a part time ENGLISH Teacher to join our team from September to June. We are located in North Burnaby.
The classes are held on weekdays after 3PM. The working hours are from 3:00pm – 5:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Ability to communicate and interact positively with young kids
Highly responsible and punctual
Thoughtful, energetic and passionate about teaching
Qualifications:
Minimum of 1 year teaching experience working with children
Have experience teaching English reading and writing
Familiarity with planning and leading group activities for kids
Candidates with a valid driver’s license are preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Burnaby, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Education:
- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)
Experience:
- teaching: 1 year (preferred)
