We're looking for a General Manager who's hungry to grow a business, not just run one.
Daan Go is a high-volume bakery production with established catering, wholesale, and specialty cake channels, anchored by our main production bakery in Richmond and a satellite unit in Vancouver. We have real growth potential across every channel, and we're looking for someone who sees that opportunity and knows how to capture it: growing existing accounts, opening new ones, and building revenue.

What you'll own
Day to day operations across both the Richmond and Vancouver locations, reporting directly to ownership and working closely with the current production team. That means overseeing production, catering, wholesale, and specialty cake sales, with a clear mandate to grow each of those channels. The Richmond bakery is the main production hub supplying the Vancouver satellite. Hiring, scheduling, vendor relationships, P&L, and culture all sit with you across both locations, with real creative latitude and accountability for driving top line growth.
Who we're looking for
- 3+ years in a GM or senior leadership role in a bakery, food production, or full-service restaurant environment
- A proven track record of driving sales and growing revenue, not just maintaining it
- A competitive spirit that's satisfied by hitting a growth benchmark and lit up by blowing past it
- Experience managing high-volume, multi-stream operations; catering, wholesale, or production experience a strong plus
- Comfortable running more than one location at a time
- Strong on the numbers: P&L, COGS, scheduling, without losing sight of the people
- Comfortable with the systems that run the business: scheduling, inventory, POS
- Entrepreneurial spirit and ownership mentality
- Someone who leads by example and earns respect on the floor
- A genuine passion for food
- Hungry to build something and grow it, not just manage what's already there
Compensation
Salary: $50,000-$70,000 per year
