Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dependable Long Haul Truck Driver to join our transportation team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight across long-distance routes while maintaining compliance with applicable transportation regulations and company policies.

Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate company tractor-trailer units on long-distance routes.
- Transport freight safely and efficiently across Canada and/or the United States.
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report any mechanical or safety concerns.
- Ensure freight is properly secured and protected during transportation.
- Maintain accurate daily logs, trip records, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
- Comply with Hours of Service (HOS), ELD requirements, and all applicable transportation regulations.
- Communicate professionally with dispatchers, customers, shippers, and receivers.
- Follow assigned routes, schedules, and delivery instructions.
- Conduct safe coupling and uncoupling of trailers.
- Monitor vehicle condition throughout each trip and report maintenance issues promptly.
- Maintain a clean and professional company vehicle.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
- Ensure timely pickup and delivery of freight.
- Handle unexpected delays, weather conditions, and road conditions safely and professionally.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 1 Driver's Licence with a clean and acceptable driving record.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial truck driving experience preferred.
- Previous long-haul or cross-border driving experience is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Hours of Service and ELD requirements.
- Ability to safely operate tractor-trailer equipment in varying weather and road conditions.
- Good communication and organizational skills.
- Reliable, responsible, and safety-conscious.
- Ability to work independently and spend extended periods on the road.
- Ability to pass applicable company, insurance, and regulatory requirements.
