Summary
We are seeking a skilled Assistant Turf Mechanic to join our team at Crown Isle Resort & Golf Community in Canada. This role is vital in maintaining and repairing our turf equipment to ensure the highest standards of golf course quality. The ideal candidate will be passionate about machinery maintenance and contribute to our commitment to excellence.
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, repair, and servicing of turf equipment using welding, electrical, mechanical skills, and power tools.
- Conduct inspections and troubleshoot machinery issues efficiently.
- Assist in the installation of new equipment and upgrades.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance activities.
- Ensure safety protocols are followed during all mechanical operations.
- Support the team with heavy lifting and equipment handling as needed.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure optimal operation of all turf-related machinery.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience with mechanical repairs and maintenance of turf or similar equipment.
- Strong welding, electrical, and mechanical knowledge.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications in mechanical or automotive repair are advantageous
