The Content team at BRSB is a critical component of the TV business, focusing on acquiring the most compelling content and creating TV packages that attract and delight Bell customers.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Content Strategy & Business Affairs, the ideal candidate has a passion for Content combined with strong business and financial acumen. As Content Manager – Packaging Strategy, you will lead Bell’s portfolio of television packages across all of Bell’s TV offerings. This entails leadership and end-to-end ownership of initiatives that drive customer engagement and customer growth by interpreting data, assessing content quality, evaluating the competitive landscape, understanding the regulatory environment, and collaborating closely with Marketing, IT and Technology teams.
Product manage all of Bell TV’s packaging platforms, which lead the industry in customer value and innovation, while achieving financial and subscriber targets
Develop multi-year TV packaging strategy and roadmap to drive towards long-term company objectives
Use customer behavior, usage and engagement data to support packaging decisions and communicate recommendations to senior executives
Maintain a detailed analysis framework that tracks competitors’ TV products in order to identify market risks and opportunities
Support business case development to quantify financial and customer impacts of pricing and packaging changes
Manage end-to-end implementation, from concept to launch, of approved initiatives and ensure that all deliverables, including those from cross-functional partners, are flawlessly executed on time by providing subscriber and packaging analysis
Partner with cross-functional teams including Marketing, Content Operations, Regulatory, Legal, IT, Technology, Customer Operations and Finance to achieve organizational objectives
University degree in a business discipline
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence senior leaders
Ability to lead cross functional teams towards one end goal
Highly organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
Team player, with a passion for achieving results and driving improvement
A passion for TV Content and improving the customer experience
Experience designing executive level PowerPoint presentations
Experience using Excel to assess business decisions and impacts
MBA or financial designation
Previous experience in consulting, business strategy, telecommunications, TV, or media
Prior project management, execution, or program delivery experience
Expert in PowerPoint and/or Excel
Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
