In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the hotel premises, ensuring every guest experiences comfort and cleanliness during their stay. Responsibilities
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, and public areas using appropriate cleaning techniques and supplies.
- Ensure all surfaces, furniture, fixtures, and linens are sanitized and well-maintained to meet health and safety standards.
- Restock amenities such as towels, toiletries, and other supplies in guest rooms and public spaces.
- Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the management team promptly.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain consistency across all areas of the hotel.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
- Assist with special cleaning projects or deep cleans as needed to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness.
Qualifications
- Prior experience in cleaning or custodial work, preferably within a hotel or hospitality environment.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, industrial cleaning equipment, and safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Good physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks that involve standing, bending, lifting, and moving equipment for extended periods.
- Familiarity with hospitality industry standards is a plus but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
