Job Summary
North Shore Taxi Ltd. has been proudly serving customers across the North Shore of Vancouver since 1966. We are a shareholder-owned company with a fleet of over 200 cabs, making us the largest taxi company on the North Shore.
We are currently looking for Class 4 licensed drivers to join our team as self-employed independent taxi driver subcontractors.
As a self-employed taxi driver, you will operate as an independent subcontractor providing taxi transportation services through North Shore Taxi Ltd. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are looking for flexibility and the opportunity to work independently while benefiting from the established reputation and customer base of a long-standing local taxi company.
Duties
- Provide safe, reliable, and professional transportation to passengers throughout the North Shore and surrounding areas.
- Operate a taxi safely and responsibly in accordance with all applicable laws and regulations.
- Pick up and drop off passengers at requested destinations.
- Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional, courteous attitude.
- Assist passengers with luggage or mobility needs when required.
- Maintain the cleanliness and general condition of the taxi.
- Use taxi dispatch, communication, and payment systems as required.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Qualifications
- Valid Class 4 BC Driver’s Licence
- Clean and responsible driving record
- Professional and courteous customer service
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
- Previous taxi or professional driving experience is an asset

Pay: $18.25-$100.00 per hour
