About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Quality Assurance (QA) Analyst to join our Research & Development team. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring the quality, reliability, and performance of innovative products throughout the development lifecycle.
Working closely with software developers, hardware engineers, and cross-functional teams, you will be responsible for designing, executing, and documenting comprehensive testing activities while identifying and resolving product issues before release.
This position focuses on product development testing rather than production quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze product requirements and technical specifications to develop effective testing strategies.
- Design detailed test plans, test cases, and test scenarios.
- Execute manual, software, hardware, and automated testing throughout the product development lifecycle.
- Identify, document, and track software and hardware defects using bug tracking tools.
- Collaborate with developers and engineers to troubleshoot and resolve issues.
- Perform regression, integration, functional, and system testing.
- Participate in prototype, pre-pilot, and pilot testing activities.
- Prepare detailed test reports, documentation, and quality recommendations.
- Support root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure products meet quality, reliability, and performance standards before release.
Qualifications
- DEC (College Diploma) in Computer Science, Quality Assurance, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience).
- 6–8 years of experience in Quality Assurance or Quality Control within software, hardware, or product development environments.
- Strong experience developing and executing test plans, test cases, and test reporting.
- Experience working in manufacturing or product development environments is considered an asset.
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools such as Jira, Zephyr Scale, Zoho, or PML Omnify.
- Strong Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office skills.
- Familiarity with Android, Linux, Windows, macOS, and basic HTML.

Pay: $28.00-$33.00 per hour
