Summary
In the role of Warehouse co-ordinator, you will be essential in maintaining efficient office operations and supporting various administrative tasks. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will utilize your core skills in Microsoft Office, data entry, and customer service to manage inventory control and assist with the warehouse management system. Your premium skills in QuickBooks and office experience will enhance our operational efficiency. Additionally, your relevant skills in proofreading and clerical experience will ensure accurate documentation and effective communication within the team. Its a 6 months contractual job- June- December 2026, with a potential to get hired on a permanent basis.
Shift Time- 2:30 - 11 pm
Job Responsibilities:
- Participate in onboarding and training programs to gain a comprehensive understanding of operations.
- Promote and maintain a safe workplace environment.
- Lead and motivate the logistics team to achieve performance goals
- KPI Monitoring & Process Improvement
- Comply with all Logistics, Supply Chain Management and client-specific security protocols.
Daily Operations & Workflow Coordination
- Coordinate with the management team to plan and manage day-to-day workload for the Distribution team
- Allocate and drop orders efficiently to optimize warehouse operations
- Plan and assign customer orders to designated staging areas based on priority and availability
- Use and maintain the electronic receiving & shipping Schedules for the purpose of scheduling, checking in & tracking of Inbound & Outbound loads
- Overseeing stock receipt, transfer, returns, invoicing, and transport documentation
- Coordinate dock doors for loading and unloading of inbound and outbound shipments
Documentation & Systems Management
- Prepare and distribute all required paperwork for picking, shipping, and receiving activities
- Create Bills of Lading (BOLs) and other essential shipping documentation for outbound drivers
- Maintain and utilize the (electronic scheduling system) to schedule, check in, and track loads
- Review, receive, and properly file shipping and receiving documents
Client & Carrier Communication
- Communicate order changes, date modifications, and shipment issues with clients in a timely manner
- Notify clients of shorts or issues and cut short orders only as approved
- Liaise with transport companies to coordinate pickup and delivery schedules
System Support & Troubleshooting
- Provide administrative support to warehouse MHE Operators regarding computer systems and WMS
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues including:
- Label discrepancies
- Inbound/Outbound load closure problems
- RF scanner issues
Customer Service & Continuous Improvement
- Respond promptly to internal and external customer inquiries via email
- Evaluate operational effectiveness and recommend improvements to workflows, procedures, and controls
- Ensure adherence to Food Safety Policies and Good Warehousing Practices (GWP)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace at all times
Experience:
- warehousing/logistics: 3 year (preferred)
