Kai Contracting Group is seeking a skilled and reliable Carpenter to join our growing team. We are looking for an experienced individual who takes pride in quality workmanship, works well independently and as part of a team, and is committed to delivering exceptional results on every project. Responsibilities
- Perform residential and commercial carpentry work
- Measure, cut, and install building materials according to specifications
- Construct, repair, and install frameworks, walls, flooring, trim, doors, and other structures
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project plans
- Ensure all work is completed safely and meets quality standards
- Maintain tools, equipment, and a clean work environment
- Collaborate with project managers and team members to meet project deadlines
Requirements
- 3–5 years of carpentry experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of carpentry methods, materials, and tools
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and plans
- Excellent attention to detail and workmanship
- Reliable transportation required
- Ability to lift heavy materials and perform physically demanding tasks
- Strong work ethic, punctuality, and reliability
- Valid driver's license is considered an asset
