Ramada by Wyndham Edmonton South is seeking an energetic, results-driven Sales & Marketing Manager to lead our hotel's sales initiatives and drive revenue growth across guestrooms, meetings, banquets, and corporate accounts.
As a full-service hotel with 126 guestrooms and 8,800 sq. ft. of flexible meeting and banquet space, this leadership role is ideal for a motivated hospitality professional who thrives on building relationships, developing new business, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect and develop new corporate, government, sports, tour, and group business.
- Generate banquet, meeting, and guestroom revenue through proactive sales efforts.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through networking, outside sales calls, and site tours.
- Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals and contracts, and coordinate successful events.
- Develop and implement marketing initiatives to promote the hotel and increase market presence.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and sales performance to achieve revenue goals.
- Work closely with hotel departments to ensure exceptional guest experiences and event execution.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of hotel sales, hospitality sales, or business development experience.
- Proven ability to generate new business and meet revenue targets.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated with strong time management and relationship-building abilities.
- Experience with hotel Property Management Systems (PMS) and Microsoft Office is an asset.
- Valid Class 5 Driver's Licence and reliable transportation.
