People Wellness Manager (Group Benefits)

You will play a lead role as
part of our Total Rewards team in the design, implementation and management of
our wellness strategy, group benefit plans, and any corresponding disability
claims (collectively, “our Wellness Programs”), in order to help us meet our
objectives of providing competitive benefits and an engaging employee
experience in a cost-conscious way,

You will succeed by:
·

Developing and advising
on plan design, policies, processes and procedures, and constantly looking for
and executing continuous improvement opportunities, maintaining market
competitiveness, and maintaining compliance with applicable legislation, Human
Rights requirements, and taxation rules;

·

Demonstrating a
client-focused approach to delivering our Wellness Programs, including
consistent and engaging employee and line-manager experience in order to foster
a productive working relationship, while still firmly supporting and applying
company policies and procedures;

·

Managing our costs
tightly and delivering on key performance indicator metrics;

·

Managing and providing
guidance to your team of two Wellness Specialists, and third-party partners if
required, as they manage occupational and non-occupational claims towards
timely return-to-work outcomes;

·

Closely collaborating our
Global Benefits team, our North American Rewards team, and our Industrial
Relations team on strategy and opportunities to leverage best practices and
scale;

·

Effectively managing colleagues
in our shared service centre and at our third-party vendor partners to ensure they
are delivering efficient, effective, and value-added services.

·

Actively supporting our
People Business Partners in providing an engaging employee experience by
proactively identifying and addressing concerns, developing effective
communication materials about our Wellness Programs.

Job Qualifications

You have a proven track record of delivering results and sustainable improvements in prior roles, by executing with discipline, dreaming big, leading the change, and demonstrating impact and influence.

As well, you have:

A University degree

·

3-5 years of related experience

·

A customer-centric mindset and can demonstrate keen conflict-resolution and problem-solving skills

  • Familiarity with occupational and non occupational claims management.
  • Awareness of all ethical guidelines related to claims management, confidentiality and privacy.
  • Proficiency in Data handling and analysis as primary way of identifying trends and insights for opportunities and or roots causes for continuous improvement.
