We are looking to add 1 child care worker/early childhood DIRECTOR to our team. Currently we are looking to hire PART-TIME hours for our OSC program in Muir Lake School (7 minutes north of Stony Plain), but will PAY as a FULL-TIME position.
Our ideal candidates will be energetic, punctual, creative, organized, dedicated, and team-players, with good communication skills who LOVES to work with children. A solid understanding of child development and behaviour is also required. A split shift is required for this position.
Qualifications:
- REQUIRED - Level 2 or 3 Child Care certificate
- Minimum 1 year of DAYCARE CENTRE or OSC experience, and working knowledge of the Child Care Licensing Regulations is required for this position
- Must have, or be willing to get First Aid/CPR Level C
- Clean criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
- MUST be available to work a split shift (6:30-8am and 2:30-6:00pm) Monday through Friday, and full days on PD Days/school breaks. Possibility of rotating opening shifts with other staff so a full split may not be required.
- During the summer months (July/August) this program is closed, however, we will have full-time hours available in our OSC in Stony Plain, if desired.
