LOVE DOGS? GET PAID TO WALK THEM!
We're hiring an energetic, dependable Dog Walker to join our amazing team starting August 1 (or sooner) for our year round position (not suitable for students.)
If you love being outdoors, enjoy staying active, and can't imagine a better workday than spending it with dogs, this could be the perfect fit!
Starting wage: $19.50/hour + bonuses (potentially more if you are certified/experienced working with dogs and have references.)
Paid training with wage increases as you complete our training program.
Year-round position (not seasonal)
We're looking for someone who is:
Experienced handling dogs of all sizes and temperaments
Has a valid driver's licence and a reliable vehicle for transporting dogs-this is a must! Please do not apply if you do not drive, or own your own vehicle you don’t mind getting dog hair in.
Has a newer smartphone with a data plan (we use an app for scheduling and communication)
Physically fit and able to walk multiple dogs in all weather conditions
Reliable, punctual, positive, flexible, and a great team player-we typically work in teams so working well with others is important
Happy working outdoors in rain, snow, heat, or cold-we work in all weather conditions
Physically fit to manage walking multiple dogs at once while walking up to 15km a day
Live in close proximity to Stratford and are familiar with the neighbourhoods
Schedule:
Monday–Friday: 8:45 a.m. – 2:45 p.m. Some weekends required
We provide all the training you need and are looking for someone who wants to grow with our team long-term.
