We are looking for a coffee barista to contribute to our Café's success! Earn great tips!
Candidates must be flexible in availability (evenings and weekends required).
DUTIES
- Candidate will provide exemplary customer service and construct, pour and serve premium quality beverages in a timely, friendly manner
- Maintain in-depth knowledge of all our products and offerings
- Welcome and connect with every guest
- Ring in orders, and follow cash handling guidelines
- Perform cash outs
- Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products
- Maintain and stock all products in café, including condiment stand
- Maintain cleanliness of store
- Assist customers with product knowledge in our gourmet food department
- Prepare and assemble dishes
- Food preparation
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Prepare and serve soups, sandwiches, pastries, pizza, and more
- Cleaning/dishwashing
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
- Ability to lift over 50 pounds, carrying cases of milk, etc.
- Ability to work in a high-volume environment and be able to keep up with tasks
- Some cooking experience is an asset
- Dependable/flexible
- Good attention to detail and ensure our customer service and store standards are met
- Food Handler Certification certificate is an asset, and will be required to complete
- Previous barista experience an asset
- Previous cash out and cash handling experience an asset
Pay: $16.50 per hour
