Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Lead Cook - Supervisor to maintain focus of our team and quality of food and service. The ideal candidate will possess delegating skills, kitchen experience, organization and a cheerful attitude. This role involves team delegation, assigning stations, prep lists and prep, delegating and maintaining a cleanign/side work schedule and collaborating on our ever changing menu. The Lead Cook/Supervisor will play a vital role in fostering a positive team environment and continuing our unique style of food and hospitality.
Responsibilities
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet quality standards
- Oversee kitchen staff to maintain high performance, organization and cleanliness levels
- Monitor inventory levels, assist with ordering, control waste
- Enforce food safety protocols and sanitation practices throughout the kitchen
- Encourage a positve and focussed kitchen environment
Requirements
- Leadership experience in a restaurant or food service setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food industry standards
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience is essential
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced, high effort environment
- Ability to priortize important tasks/prep
- Ability to focus during service
Pay: $22.00-$26.00 per hour
