Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our growing service team. In this role, you will diagnose, repair, and maintain a wide variety of passenger vehicles and light trucks. The ideal candidate has strong problem-solving skills, values shop safety, and takes pride in delivering high-quality workmanship to keep our clients safe on the road.Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose Faults: Use advanced diagnostic scan tools to identify mechanical and electrical issues.
- Perform Repairs: Fix or replace brake systems, steering, suspensions, engines, and transmissions.
- Routine Maintenance: Conduct oil changes, tire rotations, wheel alignments, and fluid flushes.
- Inspect Vehicles: Complete multi-point safety inspections and provide accurate repair recommendations.
- Document Work: Log all diagnostics, parts used, and labor hours clearly in the shop management system.
- Maintain Safety: Keep work bays clean, organized, and compliant with standard safety regulations.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Certification: Valid Journeyperson / Red Seal Automotive Service Technician certification preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2–3 years of hands-on automotive repair experience.
- License: Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record for testing client vehicles.
- Tools: Ownership of a standard automotive technician toolset.
- Tech Savvy: Ability to navigate electronic service manuals and diagnostic software.
