Pizza Hut is seeking an experienced Corporate Controller to join our team!
The Corporate Controller will report to the President of the company and will be responsible for all aspects of financial management, including payroll, accounting, financial reporting, and budgeting, as well as the oversight of internal control policies and procedures.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Supervises accounts payable, payroll and general ledger personnel.
- Mentors the accounting staff to perform their duties with accurate and up to date knowledge of accounting
- Supervises and performs daily accounting processes including journal entries, account reconciliations, and general ledger transactions.
- Reviews monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll, AR, and AP reports and provides updates to management on variances or unusual matters.
- Manages A/R, A/P relationships with third party vendors and customers
- Performs monthly analysis of revenues, expense, and individual business lines. Compares them to budget and provides explanation for variances.
- Prepares routine financial reports, and ad-hoc reports for operational review and decision making.
- Prepares monthly and annual internal and external reporting package and preparation of the annual audit file
- Assists Management in the preparation of the Budget and Forecast
- Assists Management in Strategic planning. Analyze financial information to assist in planning financial management policies and business strategies.
- Manages treasury function, including meeting short and long-term funding needs.
- Manages banking and investment banking relationships
- Manages company leases including the renewal and execution of leases.
- Assists Management where needed with other reporting and projects.
Knowledge, skills and experience:
- Professional accounting designation preferred
- University degree in Accounting.
- Minimum of 5+ years of post-designation (CPA, CA)
- Project reporting experience
- Strong computer skills, with a proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Strong analytical, organizational, and time-management skills
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work closely with the management team
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to mentor staff and take on leadership role with the accounting and payroll team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $80,000.00-$90,000.00 per year
