Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and safety-conscious Water Truck Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating the water truck to water any previously or newly installed vegetation such as sod, trees, shrubs, flowers, etc... across various sites around the city.
Responsibilities
- Operate water trucks safely and efficiently to water any new sod, shrubs, trees, or other plants that need watering.
- Conduct routine inspection of water truck to ensure proper functioning and safety compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of watered sites, equipment usage, and daily maintenance activities.
- Follow all safety protocols, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhering to site-specific safety guidelines.
Requirements
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Proven experience operating water trucks in a construction or industrial environment.
- Experience and comfortable with driving larger trucks.
Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour
