Your Role as a Crew Chief:
As a Disaster Restoration Crew Chief (Lead), you will oversee and lead job sites involving water, fire, mold, biohazard, and asbestos remediation, as well as content cleaning and restoration. You will be responsible for ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
✅ Lead a team to restore residential and commercial properties after disaster events
✅ Perform and oversee:
- Water and flood mitigation (extraction, drying, dehumidification)
- Fire and smoke damage restoration (soot removal, odor control, structure cleaning)
- Mold remediation (containment, removal, and prevention)
- Biohazard cleanup (trauma scenes, sewage backups, hazardous material handling)
- Asbestos abatement (safe handling and disposal)
- Content cleaning and restoration (pack-outs, storage, and cleaning of damaged belongings)
- General and deep cleaning services (structural and detailed cleaning experience preferred)
✅ Read and follow scopes of work and adapt to change orders
✅ Maintain and ensure compliance with safety regulations, PPE use, and hazard mitigation
✅ Operate and maintain restoration equipment, hand tools, and power tools
✅ Communicate effectively with clients, insurance adjusters, and team members
✅ Document work progress using industry software and job files
What We’re Looking For:
✅IICRC Certification (WRT Mandatory) – Additional certifications (ASD, FSRT, AMRT, Trauma & Crime Scene Cleanup) are a plus
✅Experience in restoration, remediation, and cleaning (leadership experience preferred)
✅Valid Driver’s License (required)
✅Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
✅Ability to work in physically demanding conditions (lifting, standing, working in confined or hazardous spaces)
✅Willingness to work Monday-Friday, on-call shifts, weekends, and overtime as needed
