In this role, you will become an integral part of our development teams focused on delivering applications that position the institution as a preferred partner for its clients. As a Quality Assurance Analyst, you will be joining a team dedicated to conducting automated (70%) and manual (30%) tests for a regulatory project within the Insurance sector. You will collaborate closely with various stakeholders to plan, execute, and monitor tests for the designated content, while also presenting progress updates and test results.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Gather and analyze pertinent information related to the assigned content to prepare comprehensive test plans.
- Participate actively in the development, implementation, and execution of suitable test plans based on specifications.
- Perform test executions meticulously.
- Monitor the progress of tests, rectify encountered anomalies, and diagnose them effectively.
- Ensure thorough test coverage and uphold the quality of delivered versions.
- Contribute to the enhancement of quality assurance practices, including optimization of tools and methodologies.
- Identify opportunities for test automation and undertake the configuration and implementation of automated tests.
- Generate datasets for both manual and automated tests.
- Foster close collaboration with fellow team members, including developers, analysts, Product Owners (POs), Scrum Masters (SMs), etc.
- Report any anomalies observed during the testing process.
Requirements:
- Possession of a college diploma in computer science or a related field.
- Demonstrated experience of 3 to 5 years in the field or equivalent relevant experience.
- Proficiency in programming or scripting, particularly JavaScript.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools.
- Knowledge of software such as Cucumber, Jenkins, Jira, X-Ray, SOAP UI, Postman, Eclipse, MS SQL, or others (an asset).
- Bilingual proficiency in French and English.
