Job Summary
The Auto Parts E-Commerce Returns Associate is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing returned automotive parts from online customers. This role involves verifying returned items against return documentation, assessing product condition, determining disposition (restock, repackage, refurbish, or scrap), and accurately updating inventory records in the warehouse management system.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and unpacking returned automotive parts.
- Inspecting products for damage, completeness, and resale eligibility.
- Verifying part numbers and return authorization information.
- Processing returns using warehouse management and e-commerce systems.
- Relabeling, repackaging, and restocking approved items.
- Documenting discrepancies, damages, and quality issues.
- Maintaining inventory accuracy and organized storage locations.
- Operating a counterbalance forklift.
- Ability to lift, move, and handle parts, with an average weight of 30lbs.
- Following company safety, quality, and productivity standards.
- Communicating with supervisors regarding unusual returns or inventory concerns.
Skills and Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role is required.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy items (up to [specify weight, e.g., 50 lbs]).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to identify automotive parts accurately.
- Basic computer skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.

Additional Information
Full-time permanent position
The candidate must be available from Monday to Friday 8:00AM - 4:30PM and weekends when necessary
