Overview
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in automotive repair, with experience working in dealership environments preferred. This role involves restoring vehicles to their original condition through precise repair work and requires a combination of mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills. The technician will be responsible for performing body repairs, using various tools, and ensuring high-quality standards are met. Candidates should be detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and capable of handling physically demanding tasks such as heavy lifting.
Duties
- Assess vehicle damage and develop repair plans to restore structural integrity and appearance
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy-duty equipment to perform body repairs, dent removal, and panel replacements
- Perform frame straightening, sanding, priming, and painting as needed
- Conduct automotive repairs related to collision damage, including replacing parts and aligning frames
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency
- Collaborate with team members to complete repairs within specified timeframes while maintaining quality standards
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during repair procedures
Experience
- Prior dealership experience or extensive automotive repair background highly preferred
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and components
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and automotive repair equipment
- Experience with automotive bodywork, collision repair, or related fields is advantageous
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during repair processes
- Mechanic experience or background in automotive technology is a plus
