We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting and handling items efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills. Duties
- Safely load, unload, and transport items using appropriate moving equipment and vehicles
- Assist customers with their moving needs, ensuring a positive experience through professional service.
- Communicate effectively with team members and customers regarding schedules, delivery details, and special instructions
- Perform heavy lifting tasks safely, adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of moving equipment and vehicles
- Follow all safety guidelines and traffic laws during driving operations
Qualifications
- Prior experience in moving and driving preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong physical ability to lift heavy items safely and repeatedly throughout the day
- Excellent communication skills to interact professionally with customers and team members
- Reliable transportation to work location; familiarity with local routes is advantageous
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Commitment to safety standards and customer satisfaction
Pay: $17.00-$22.00 per hour
