The incumbent assists the investment and asset management team in the execution of their duties. Under the general supervision of the Director, Real Estate Investment Funds, he or she compiles and analyzes relevant data to assess the performance of existing investments.

Prepare requests for partner contributions/distributions and check documentation received from partners against the corresponding agreements and internal authorizations;
Compile information and help prepare various internal management reports and investment authorization reports for the manager to track and regularly update asset management indicators;
Help gather and process historical data and projections related to real estate funds for use in an existing database;
Establish financial models to monitor and forecast fund performance;
Contribute to and help improve the management platform for real estate investment funds;
Analyze financial statements, activity reports and all other relevant documents provided by funds and platforms to identify and explain major performance gaps;
Complete ad hoc analyses and carry out any other related tasks requested by the immediate supervisor or required as part of the job.

What we’re looking for
Enrolled in an undergraduate program in administration, finance, accounting, real estate valuation or a related field, with at least two years already completed;
Relevant experience in a similar position in real estate or finance an asset;
Fluency in written and spoken English and French; solid writing skills;
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (especially Excel);
General familiarity with accounting principles and basics;
Innovative, proactive and detail-oriented with excellent analytical skills;
Team player, strong communicator, outgoing, dynamic, organized and self-motivated.
