IT Blueprint Solutions is a fast-growing Vancouver based company that provides expertise in IT solutions comprised of cloud and on-premise services, best in class hardware, software, security, networking, and data protection. We are currently looking for a Sr. Sales Account Manager to join our Vancouver-based team. The Sr. Account Manager is tasked with understanding the challenges facing customers and prospects, rallying the necessary resources together to solve these challenges, sell these solutions and manage customer expectations and satisfaction. The role requires the Account Manager to consistently meet/exceed their assigned sales targets, acquire new account and grows the account footprints .
Responsibilities
- Work with prospects and customers to develop a deep understanding of their needs and translate those needs into solutions that satisfy their demands.
- Cross-selling and up-selling services and solutions to prospects and customers.
- Conduct presentations that showcase the services and products of the company to prospects and customers.
- Develop and submit proposals, quotes and respond to RFP/RFI documents.
- Maintain in-depth product knowledge of the products and services offerings of the company.
- Perform sales and admin procedures through regular and accurate usage of the CRM and Sales Productivity/Management apps.
- Achieve and maintain a positive rapport with prospects and customers and provide high quality service.
- Meet and/or exceed assigned quotas and obligations on a consistent basis
- Constantly develop new clients and market opportunities.
- Manage difficult Customer and Vendor issues and escalations. Engage management when appropriate.
- Build pipeline, qualify and progress opportunities and regularly close deals heeding company sales policies and profit margin requirements.
- Engage the Services and Finance departments to promote a smooth integrated workflow resulting in faster revenue recognition and growth.
- Perform other sales-related duties as directed by management.
Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Proven experience selling in the expanding cloud/as-a-service/hybrid technology landscape.
- Extensive experience in all aspects of the sales lifecycle particularly as it relates to Managed Services.
- Thorough understanding of how customers in the small to medium business market operate.
- Strong team player who enjoys working with staff, contractors, customers, prospects and partners.
- High energy and drive with good negotiation, verbal and written communication skills.
- Interpersonal skills: active listener, respectful, empathetic, honest, fair and assertive.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
- Strong analytical and strategic thinking, organizational and presentation skills.
- Ability to multitask effectively and work under changing priorities.
- Ability to exercise professional judgment, problem-solve, delegate and follow-up.
Education & Experience
- Minimum 10 years of corporate sales experience.
- Technology industry experience in cloud, hardware, software, and technical services
- Demonstrated track record of success in the direct sales role.
- BA/BS, preferably in a business or technology related field.
- Experience with effectively using a CRM and Sales Productivity tools.
- Possess good financial acumen.
- Proficient with general office applications.
