Overview
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team in beautiful downtown Oakville. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of various massage techniques and the ability to create a healing environment for clients. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a vital role in promoting overall health and well-beingfor our patients through therapeutic touch and personalized care. Our existing RMT of 15 years is retiring and we would be thrilled to transition care to anothr incredible team member. Options for 1 full time or 2 part time therapist is a possibility.
Duties
- Provide professional massage therapy services tailored to individual client needs.
- Assess client conditions by reviewing health histories and conducting thorough consultations.
- Utilize various massage techniques, including Swedish, deep tissue, and sports massage. (BONUS for pre and post natal care, pediatric care as we are a specialist office in those fields)
- Maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming treatment environment.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and address any concerns.
- Document treatment plans and progress notes accurately in client records.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and best practices through ongoing education.

Skills
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their needs.
- Excellent customer service skills to ensure a positive experience for all clients.
- Familiarity with health terminology to accurately assess client conditions and document treatments.
- Ability to perform various massage techniques with proficiency and confidence.
- Strong organizational skills to manage appointments, client records, and treatment plans efficiently.
