Cook Duties
- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items following established recipes and safety standards
- Serve customers efficiently and courteously, ensuring a positive dining experience
- Handle food with care, maintaining proper food safety and hygiene practices
- Assist in meal preparation, including chopping, assembling, and plating dishes
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen and dining areas, adhering to sanitation protocols
- Manage food inventory and ensure proper storage of ingredients
- Support team members during busy hours to ensure smooth restaurant operations
Team Member | Church's Texas Chicken
- Provided excellent customer service by greeting customers, taking orders, and handling cash and electronic payments.
- Prepared and packaged food orders while maintaining quality and accuracy standards.
- Assisted with food preparation, stocking, and inventory organization.
- Maintained cleanliness of kitchen, dining area, and workstations in accordance with food safety regulations.
- Restocked supplies and supported daily opening and closing procedures.
- Worked effectively in a fast-paced environment to ensure timely service and customer satisfaction.
Skills
- Experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and safety regulations within the restaurant or food industry
- Strong serving skills with excellent customer service abilities
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Kitchen experience including meal preparation and food safety practices
- Ability to follow instructions accurately and work collaboratively as part of a team
- Passion for the food industry with a commitment to quality and cleanliness
