Your days will include:
- Supervising and Training production staff at feed mill
- Overseeing production schedules for feed division
- Implementing staff performance reviews
- Liaising between feed mills, purchasing, nutrition and accounting departments
- Assisting the mill manager with HACCP procedures and responsibilities
- Proficient use of the Repete computer mixing systems
To succeed in this role, you must possess:
- Agriculture Diploma is considered an asset
- 5 years’ experience in a feed manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations and codes of practice pertaining to feed mills
- Ability to interpret and explain company policies, rules and regulations
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills]
- Excellent computer skills
- Ability to develop new procedures as necessary
- Holds a valid Class 5 License
- Ability to analyze product and adjust processes as required
