Duties
- Deliver engaging tutoring sessions in various subjects such as English, Math, French and Science to students on Saturdays, adapting methods to meet diverse learning needs
- Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to encourage continuous improvement
- Develop customized lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards and individual student goals
- Foster a positive, encouraging environment that promotes active participation and confidence-building
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff regarding student progress and areas for growth
- Maintain accurate records of tutoring sessions, attendance, and student achievements
- Support the overall educational mission by creating an inspiring and motivating atmosphere for learners
Experience
- Prior experience in tutoring or teaching, especially with children or young learners, is highly preferred
- Strong communication skills with the ability to connect with students of varying ages and backgrounds
- Classroom experience or familiarity with educational environments enhances effectiveness in this role
