Responsibilities:
1. Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
2. Post journal entries and reconcile accounts, prepare trial balance of books, maintain general ledgers, and prepare financial statements
3. Calculate and prepare cheques for payrolls and for utility, tax, and other bills
4. Complete and submit tax remittance forms, workers' compensation forms, pension contribution forms, and other government documents
5. Prepare tax returns and perform other personal bookkeeping services
6. Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
Requirement:
1. Bachelor’s degree or diploma in accounting, bookkeeping, finance, business, or related fields.
2. 1-2 years of work experience in bookkeeping or accounting is preferred
3. Bilingual in English and Chinese is an asset, but not required
4. Be detail-oriented and proactive, and be willing to work in a fast-paced environment
5. Have good communication skills and ability to be a team player
