Position Overview
We are looking for Commercial Autobody Technicians at all experience levels.
Whether you are a Red Seal Journeyperson, a registered apprentice, or an experienced autobody technician looking to transition into commercial vehicle repairs, we want to hear from you.
The successful candidate will perform structural and cosmetic repairs on commercial vehicles while maintaining the high standards of workmanship our customers expect. Less experienced technicians will receive mentorship and training from our senior team, while experienced technicians will have the opportunity to work independently on a wide variety of challenging repairs.
Responsibilities
- Repair collision damage on commercial trucks, trailers, buses, fleet vehicles, and specialty equipment.
- Assess vehicle damage and assist with developing repair plans.
- Repair or replace damaged body panels and structural components.
- Perform welding, panel fitting, dent repair, body filler application, sanding, and priming.
- Complete frame and structural repairs where experience permits.
- Work closely with estimators, painters, and production staff to ensure efficient workflow.
- Maintain quality standards and follow manufacturer repair procedures.
- Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
- Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
We are interested in candidates who meet one or more of the following:
- Red Seal Commercial Autobody Technician.
- Registered Commercial Autobody Apprentice.
- Several years of relevant autobody repair experience, even without certification.
- Red Seal Automotive Collision Repair Technician interested in transitioning into commercial vehicles.
Ideal candidates will possess:
- Experience performing autobody repairs and collision work.
- Welding experience (MIG and aluminum experience is an asset).
- Strong attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude.
- Personal hand tools (needed).
