Casual/Replacement Psychoeducational Consultants

The Halton District School Board is seeking qualified Psychoeducational Consultants who will replace absent Psychoeducational Consultants.

The successful candidates may work in a variety of elementary and secondary schools. The Casual/Replacement Psychoeducational Consultant will complete cognitive, academic and social/emotional assessments for students. Casual/Replacement Psychoeducational Consultants will also be members of a school based resource team and provide consultation to school staff. The successful candidates may work collaboratively with children, the school team, families, special educational support services and community agencies.

A reliable vehicle and valid Driver’s Licence are essential.

Casual/Replacement Psychoeducational Consultants positions are held for a defined period of time and are not eligible for employee benefits.

Qualifications:
The minimum education required for this position is a Master’s Degree in Psychology.

Registration or eligibility for registration in the College of Psychologists would be an asset. Ideally, the candidate will have experience working in a school board setting.

Strong verbal and written communication skills are required.
