User experience designers at TD develop information architectures, design interactive experiences and help conduct research to create services and products that our customers love. A deep understanding of our customers is foundational to our design practice.

We are looking for a UX writer who is eager to solve meaningful problems and create seamless experiences spanning a broad digital and physical ecosystem. You'll get a chance to work with a team of creatives from diverse disciplines and industries, and collaborate closely with the best design research team in the industry to generate insights, concepts and experiences. Job Description As a UX writer, you are a key member of the design team. You're a great story teller who is at ease presenting and discussing your work with clients and stakeholders. You challenge old ways of thinking and put the customer at the center of everything you do. Design thinking and User-Centred Design methodologies are second nature to you. Responsibilities:
Collaborates closely with designers to craft seamless customer experiences
Writes clear, accurate and compelling user interface copy
Collaborates with project partners and DCX Experience Strategy team to determine the business objectives that drive content strategy
Makes recommendations on user requirements for projects and contributes to project scoping and planning
Obtains competitive experience evaluations and customer data and establishes benchmarks for content
Develops and documents content creation governance and workflow as well as style, tone and voice guidelines, including recommendations around brand vision
Presents content concepts in collaboration with designers
Writers and designs in accordance with TD's design system
Contributes to the development of the Digital Customer Experience team’s culture and quality standards
Manage and administer design projects
Coordinate copy translation
Job Requirements
Degree in writing or design
Experience in a design-related discipline (industrial design, user-centred design, visual design, design strategy, design management, human factors, psychology, human-computer interaction, etc.) is a major plus
Expert writing, editing and proofreading skills, with experience writing for online required, kiosk, Voice and audio User Interface writing
Understanding of interactive design and usability principles and how content strategy and creation contributes to the user experience
A passion for great experience design
4-7 years of experience, with a minimum of 2 years in product design or creating of digital experiences
Proficiency in adapting processes to meet project needs
Willingness to collaborate
Self-motivated, flexible, organized and accountable
Good understanding of user-centred design and related design disciplines (experience strategy, visual design, UX writing, design research, interaction design)
Strong portfolio demonstrating a range of UX writing abilities
