Duties include:
- Work one on one and in small groups with children with autism spectrum disorder in our centres, family homes, and/or community
- Creating fun and engaging learning activities
- May need to assist with personal care activities including feeding and toileting
- Daily communication with families and supervisors
- Access to training and ongoing clinical supervision and support from Board Certified Behaviour Analysts and those pursing certification
- Will work around your availability but weekends and evening availability are required
Education:
- A college diploma or university degree in a related field: Honours Bachelor of Behavioural Psychology, Autism and Behavioural Science Graduate Certificate, Behaviour Science Advanced Diploma, BA/BSc Psychology/Child Studies/Disability Studies, Early Childhood Education, Child and Youth Care, Social Service Worker
Skills/training:
- Have a passion for engaging children with complex needs
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disabilities is considered an asset
- ***Access to a vehicle and ability to transport children is required
- First Aid/CPR required

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
