Overview
We are a subsidized daycare located at 567 Jarry Ouest, seeking a dedicated and passionate Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and experience working with children.
Responsibilities
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development.
- Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating classroom environment that encourages exploration and learning.
- Communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues to support student progress and well-being.
- Collaborate with team members to develop curriculum plans and organize classroom resources efficiently.
Skills
- Strong understanding of childcare principles, early childhood education, and teaching methodologies.
- Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with children, parents, and team members.
- Computer literacy, including basic computer operation, data entry, and record keeping.
- Strong organizational skills to manage classroom activities and documentation efficiently.
- Leadership qualities to guide young learners and collaborate effectively within a team environment.
Education
AEC or DEC in Early Childhood Education.
Pay: $25.78-$32.80 per hour
