Warehouse Supervisor — Automotive Cross-Dock Operations
We're looking for an experienced, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to lead daily cross-docking operations for automotive parts freight arriving from multiple Auto Parts Distribution Centers (PDCs). You'll own the flow of inbound and outbound freight, lead the warehouse team, and keep every shipment accurate, safe, and on time.
What You'll Do
Run the floor — oversee daily cross-docking and keep automotive parts moving smoothly through the facility
Coordinate inbound freight from various PDCs — receive, sort, scan, stage, and dispatch to the right dealers, routes, and destinations
Supervise the team — direct warehouse staff all shift long, train and coach them, and hold everyone accountable
Keep it accurate — verify manifests, labels, shipping docs, and quantities; investigate and resolve shortages, damages, and misroutes
Communicate with drivers, dispatch, customer service, and management on operational issues and discrepancies
Protect the operation — enforce safety, housekeeping, and company standards; monitor dock activity, loading/unloading, and staging areas
Improve flow — track productivity, spot efficiency gains, and complete shift reports with actionable handoffs
What You'll Bring
2+ years in warehouse, cross-dock, transportation, or logistics (supervisory/team-lead experience preferred)
Experience with automotive parts or transportation freight is an asset
Strong organizational and problem-solving skills — you thrive in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment
Clear communication and leadership instincts
Comfortable with computers, scanners, warehouse management systems, and Microsoft Office
Able to lift and move freight as needed
Valid forklift certification is an asset
Reliable, punctual, and ready to take ownership
