Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Dishwasher to join our team in providing exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in maintaining a clean and organized kitchen environment, ensuring that all dishes, utensils, and kitchenware are sanitized and ready for use. Previous restaurant, hotel, or food service experience is a plus but not required; a strong work ethic and attention to cleanliness are essential.
Duties
- Wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area and ensure all sanitation standards are met
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, including organizing supplies and cleaning workstations
- Support kitchen staff by providing clean dishes promptly during busy service times
- Follow health and safety regulations related to food handling and hygiene practices
- Restock supplies such as napkins, utensils, and cleaning materials as necessary
- Ensure proper disposal of waste and recycling materials in accordance with facility policies
Qualifications
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant, hotel, or hospitality environments is preferred but not mandatory
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures and food handling safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Reliable with a positive attitude and willingness to learn new skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks comfortably
